Clear, fair terms for using Bastion apps.

Agreement

By creating a Bastion account or using any Bastion app (Questy, Fuel, Shield, Thunk), you agree to these terms. If you're creating an account for your family, you confirm you are a parent or legal guardian.

Accounts

Parent accounts

  • You must be 18 or older to create a parent account
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials

Child accounts

  • Child accounts must be created and managed by a parent
  • Children cannot make purchases or change billing settings
  • Parents can modify or delete child accounts at any time

Subscriptions & billing

  • Free plan — Available forever, no credit card required
  • Paid plans — Billed monthly or yearly, auto-renew unless cancelled
  • Cancellation — Cancel anytime from your account settings. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
  • Refunds — Contact support@bastion.family within 14 days of a charge for a full refund.
  • Price changes — We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Bastion apps for their intended purpose — managing family activities. You may not:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the service

Intellectual property

Bastion and its apps are owned by Bastion. You retain ownership of any content you create (chore lists, meal plans, etc.). By using the service, you grant us a license to store and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

Limitation of liability

Bastion apps are provided "as is." While we work hard to keep everything running smoothly, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
