What we never collect
- Screen recordings or screenshots
- Browsing history (Shield filters at DNS level without logging)
- Location data
- Contacts or phone data
- Data from other apps on your devices
How we use your data
- To provide and improve our services
- To send important account notifications
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To provide customer support when you reach out
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We only share data with:
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Infrastructure providers — for hosting (encrypted at rest and in transit)
- Law enforcement — only when legally required, and we will notify you unless prohibited
Children's privacy
Bastion apps are designed to be used by families, including children. We take extra care with children's data:
- Child accounts are always managed by a parent
- Children cannot make purchases or change account settings
- We collect the minimum data necessary for app functionality
- Parents can delete their children's data at any time
Your rights
- Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about your family
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export — Download your data in a standard format
- Correction — Update or correct any inaccurate information
